Today, Wade works to continue his family’s tradition of excellence as SevenBar charts new courses in the aviation industry. His vision, leadership, and dedication are fundamental to seven bars growth and continued success. In 1989, Wade became President of SevenBar. Early on his goal was to consolidate the ownership of SevenBar and its entities under one owner and to grow the business. SevenBar and related businesses had various partners and family members. During that time moved the company headquarters to Dallas, Texas.

In 1999, Wade became sole owner of the company by buying out all family members. Wade’s growth strategy included growing the general aviation services business, further expansion of air medical services, and looking for acquisition opportunities. He directed and oversaw the expansion into the Texas market with air medical contracts. SevenBar has grown more than five times during his tenure.

In 2008, SevenBar sold all of its FBOs, which provided general aviation services to Atlantic Aviation.

Going forward, Wade wanted SevenBar’s sole focus to be in providing the safest and highest quality provider of air medical services. In 2010, Wade oversaw the transformation of SevenBar being a fixed wing provider to adding rotor services. Seven Bar today is one of the fastest growing air medical companies in the country and is recognized as a leader in the industry.  The company was sold to Global Medical Response in June of 2019.

In addition to his duties at SevenBar, Wade oversaw the investment, development and management activities of the Black Family Properties in New Mexico for the last twenty-five years. The Black family is one of the largest owners of the real estate in the Albuquerque Metropolitan area.
